Edgewater and Andersonville host various events to keep the whole family entertained. The Andersonville Midsommarfest starts in June and has activities for adults and kids alike. Enjoy live band's play while looking at experienced and up-and-coming artists, merchants, and food vendors. Kids' activities include a stage with children-friendly bands, outdoor carnival games, and giant-sized board games. Edgewater Arts Festival was created by a local Edgewater resident who strived to rebuild the art scene within the community. The art showcased at the festival includes ceramics, clothing, jewelry, photography, and more from over 1,600 local artists. Andersonville Farmers Market takes place from May to October. Vendors include vegetable sellers, baked goods, and relishes. Other artisans sell home goods, hair and skin products, and locally-created candles.
